This Zinc anode is made from SS# 316 tube.
It is for protecting pump body against corrosion.
The Zinc anode is used to help deter corrosion in the submerged pump system.
This sacrificial anode will redirect the corrosion from your pump to itself via differences in voltage potential.
This means the anode will be consumed in corrosion in preference to the pump, increasing the lifespan of the pump. There are three different anode sizes which are 3/4"(20mm), 1"(25mm) and 1 1/4" (32mm).

awsome little pump!!

we had a wind mill break and replaced it with this solar pump to feed a 23,000L tank feeding 4 large cattle troughs and it is working really well!
extremely easy to install and dan kept us updated on transport and checked in on us after delivery.. very happy to help and gets back to you within a few mins every time! ill be back mate
